Crocodiles don’t come with warning stickers – they don’t really need them.
But if they did, it’s not unreasonable to imagine that they might say ‘don’t poke with a stick’.
One elderly crocodile farm owner in South Africa found out just what can
happen when you do poke one of the prehistoric reptiles with a bit of
wood – you put your toes, if not your life, in danger.

Peter Watson, who runs Crocodile Creek in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa,
was lucky to survive after he used a stick to try and move a mother
crocodile away from her eggs, which were about to hatch
The 73-year-olds' attempts to coax the three-metre-long animal to
another part of her enclosure were caught on camera by Earth Touch News
Network, who happened to be at the farm filming a documentary for
National Geographic.
Their dramatic footage shows him prodding the huge croc - and the croc snapping angrily back at him.
Suddenly, the crocodile lunges forward and grabs his foot, sending Mr Watson tumbling to the ground and scrambling for his life.

Mr Watson was lucky to escape with his life and later explained that the beast had shaken him 'like a leaf'
Miraculously, he escaped relatively unscathed. He did lose a toe nail, though.
He told iOL News:
‘It shook me like a flippin leaf. It got a hold of my foot and started
shaking me. I had already reasoned it would bite me again so I held out
my arms.
'I had to protect my stomach and my throat… that could be fatal because
it could tear my stomach out. I’m amazed my toe stayed on.’
He added: ‘My wife is bloody annoyed, if you get bitten around here, you get no sympathy.’
Crocodile Creek is home to around 7,000 crocodiles and snakes.

A construction worker held his
girlfriend hostage on a Chinese rooftop after her parents reportedly
refused to approve their marriage.
Hundreds of onlookers and armed police watched as the man stripped to
his underwear and ordered his girlfriend to do the same so she would be
shamed in front of their neighbours.
He announced he was going to kill her and claimed the 29-year-old
regularly had affairs when he went to work, according to various local
media reports.

At one point the man, identified as a 32-year-old named Lin, stripped completely naked.
He held his girlfriend by the throat and waved the meat cleaver in the
air as trained negotiators tried to talk him down from the roof of the
quiet residential block.
The man's relatives were brought to the scene on Monday to try and talk him down but had little luck.
As police and soldiers surrounded the rooftop, the half-naked kidnapper demanded a getaway car for himself and his girlfriend.
Eventually police provided one and, still holding his terrified partner,
the man put his jeans back on and climbed down from the roof into a
city square.
But as he made his way towards the car officers gave chase, managing to
pull him away from his girlfriend and throw him to the ground.
Still topless, he was handcuffed in front of hundreds of stunned onlookers and led away.
The man now faces a lengthy jail term - and according to reports, not
even his own parents had approved the marriage in the first place.

Shocking: US Police Man & Woman On Duty Caught Having S*x In Empty Vacation Home
New York - Two US police officers were caught unawares in a New York neighborhood having s*x in a resident’s house.
The officers, one a patrolman and the other a female traffic control officer, believed that the vacation home was empty when they decided to choose it for their s*x romp.
Unfortunately for them, the owner of the home was expecting guests who happened upon the couple in the act and reported them.
According to Huffington Post reports:
An unnamed 31-year-old patrolman and a 20-year-old female part-time traffic control officer were so focused on their s*xy stakeout that they apparently didn’t notice the guests’ arrival.
The visitors quietly exited and walked a short distance to the East Hampton Village station house to report the romantic intruders, the East Hampton Star said.
The cops were caught on Dec. 30. The three guests had arrived from Georgia to spend the New Year’s holiday in the vacation home of Manhattan interior designer J. Arthur Dunnam.
The female officer also reportedly worked part-time as a maid in Dunnam’s home. She has been stripped of her job while her male companion was suspended without pay.
Dunnam pressed charges and Village Police Chief Gerard Larsen told the East Hampton Star that there’s “an ongoing internal investigation.”
Plastic surgeon creates ‘perfect wife’ with ‘Wonder Woman Makeover’ – then asks her to marry him on first date
Plastic surgeon Dr David Matlock, 49, met his wife Veronica, 38, when she visited his clinic in Los Angeles, California for vaginoplasty after giving birth to her daughter. Dr Matlock her out for a date, immediately proposed to her, and has been helping her to enhance her figure ever since.
Ever since
they first met in 2007, Dr. David Matlock, a famous Beverly Hills
plastic surgeon, has been using his body-sculpting skills to turn his
wife Veronica into the perfect wife.
When
Veronica first visited Dr. Matlock to ask about a vaginoplasty
procedure after giving birth to her daughter, she had no idea she would
soon become his wife. But he did. The beautiful brunette was 40lbs
heavier and was so unhappy with the way she looked that she couldn’t
even look him in the eye during their first conversation. But David
didn’t see her extra pounds, he just saw her potential and asked her if
she was willing to go through a “Wonder Woman Makeover” which included
liposuction of the chin, arms and thighs as well as a “Brazilian Butt”
lift. She opted for everything he suggested and put her body in his able
hands. After he was done, Dr. Matlock asked Veronica out and proposed
to her on their very first date. He has been helping her improve her
physique ever since, also encouraging her to stick to a healthy diet and
strict exercise program.

But it
wasn’t just Veronica who benefited from Dr. Matlock’s procedures. In
order to get the perfect manly body he had always dreamed of, the
plastic surgeon has undergone several procedures himself. The
49-year-old says diet and exercising could only take his body to a
certain level, so he had liposuction done on his pecs, biceps and
triceps, and used a technique called Vaser High Def Liposculpting, which
he pioneered, to inject live fat into the biceps, triceps, calves, or
pecs and give them a sculpted look. Today, both he and his 39-year-old
wife compete in body-building competitions which keep them motivated to
look their best. “Because he keeps himself looking good, it’s added
pressure. So I feel like I have to look good, you know,” Veronica told
Barcroft Media. The two eat six carefully planned meals a day,
consisting of lean chicken, fish, rice and vegetables.

The
Matlocks’ daughter, nine-year-old Isabella, doesn’t share their views on
fitness and plastic surgery. She feels healthy food doesn’t taste good
and says she would never want to go under the knife for cosmetic
purposes, “because it’s not really you, like I want to be myself”.
Veronica says that although her husband encourages her to get various
procedures done, she feels he loves her for who she is, because when she
first walked into his office she didn’t look very attractive, but he
always tells her it was love at first sight.
