“Raila is not your age-mate, Respect and treat him as your Elder” – Hon Sonko WARNS Aden Duale

Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has warned Jubilee MPs against castigating Cord leader Raila Odinga over claims of theft of Eurobond cash.
The senator said Mr Odinga should be treated as an important statesman and a whistle blower and be given the opportunity to present his complaints and allegations.
Senator Sonko made the remarks on Wednesday during a press conference at Parliament in which he was joined by West Pokot Senator Prof John Lonyangapuo.
I want to warn my brother leader of majority Aden Duale and Kindiki that they should treat Raila Odinga with the respect he deserves. The former premier is not their age-mate. He is their elder and they should treat him as such and even as a paramount statesman.
What Raila is saying concerning the Eurobond must not be ignored because it might be true. Raila has blown many scandals which turned out to be true. For instance the Arthur brothers. Those shouting at him must go slow and listen to him because he has been in this game long enough to unravel any insobriety”
I wish to reiterate that whistle-blowers on various scams should be accommodated and their views, claims and allegations on specific graft handled with the care that they deserve.
I wish to challenge my fellow Jubilee legislators not to rush in condemning and demonizing Cord leader Raila Odinga but to allow due process of law to take its due course.
Sonko also claimed Jubilee MPs had been summoned from their constituencies to attend the press conference in Nairobi on Wednesday at Serena Hotel at 1 pm.
It is wrong for our leaders Duale and Kindiki to call our members from recess to come and oppose Raila even before he speaks, said Sonko.
